Police investigating robbery arrest suspects in theft of checks, IDs

Authorities seized 17 stolen checkbooks, check-making software, stolen IDs and more than 300 fake and forged checks after tracking down a vehicle used in a robbery, court papers show.
Oklahoma City police arrested six people suspected of printing counterfeit checks, including two people under investigation by U.S. Secret Service agents and local identity crimes task force members, according to an affidavit filed Tuesday in Oklahoma County District Court.
Kevin J. Dickerson, 34, and Tera J. Salas, 33, are accused in multiple complaints of receiving and concealing stolen property, possession of forged instruments, possession of methamphetamine and conspiracy to commit forgery, records show.
They were being held in the Oklahoma County jail, with bail set at $200,000 for Dickerson and $225,000 for Salas, a jailer said Tuesday.
Also arrested April 26 at two Oklahoma City motels were Anthony Hill, Crystal Combs, Matthew Brewer and Jonathan Koehler, records show.
Police made the arrests after spotting a vehicle seen leaving the scene of a robbery on Sept. 21.
