Police: Man shot girlfriend during a game of 'quick draws'

Texas police have arrested a man after he admitted to shooting his girlfriend while the couple was drinking and playing a game of “quick draws,” unaware that the gun was loaded.

The Cross Timbers Gazette reports that the woman told officers that she accidentally shot herself in the hand and shoulder while trying to clean her .44-caliber Ruger Vaquero.
Police said the woman had been lying in a large pool of blood all night long.
