Police officer saves woman on bridge

ADA -- An Ada police officer has been credited with saving the life of a distraght woman sitting on a Pontotoc County bridge.

Officer Brian Tomsovic answered a 911 call that the woman was on the Sandy Creek overpass, the Ada News reported.

The officer, after several other law enforcement and emergency personnel arrived, was able to distract the woman and grab her, pulling her from the bridge railing, the newspaper reported.
