Police release pictures of woman in connection with an Oklahoma City car theft

Police are looking for a woman in connection with stealing a car in northwest Oklahoma City. The woman was caught on a surveillance camera.

Police are asking for help identifying a woman seen on camera stealing a car from a northwest Oklahoma City convenience store.

About 9:30 p.m. on Aug. 14 a man parked in front of the 7-11 store at 4432 NW 63 and went inside of the store, leaving the car running and unattended, according to a police report.

A woman got in the car and drove away, police report.

The car was described as a 2004 Honda Accord with four doors. It was silver with tinted windows and had a paper tag license plate at the time it was stolen. The number was Oklahoma VIN019916.

Surveillance camera photographs of the woman have been released. Anyone with information can call Crime Stoppers at 235-7300.

Callers to Crime Stoppers can remain anonymous and may be eligible for a cash reward, a news release states.
