Man arrested after police pursuit in Oklahoma City hotel robbery

UPDATE: 8:55 a.m.The suspect has been identified as Leondrick Brown, 27, according to an Oklahoma City police spokesman. A clerk at the Plaza Inn, 3200 S. I-35, reported an armed robbery. Officers observed the described vehicle and attempted to stop it. A pursuit began at SE 32nd and Grand to a trailer park near SE 48 and Sooner. The suspect got out of the car and ran into a wooded area, taking off his outer clothing and throwing money out as he was running. Brown was apprehended at 6017 Greenview Dr.

UPDATE: 6:17 a.m.Police officers have recovered an amount of money stolen in a Monday armed robbery of a hotel on S Interstate 35 Service Road Monday.

Officers have found clothing in a creek near a southeast Oklahoma City creek.

5:53 a.m.Police are looking for a man who jumped out of a car and ran from officers in south Oklahoma City Monday, according to police radio reports.

Police are watching and area near SE 48 and Sooner Road.
