Oklahoma City police said they were searching Wednesday afternoon for a woman who stabbed a man during an argument on the corner of N 23 and Santa Fe Avenue near the state Capitol.

Police Sgt. Jennifer Wardlow said police were searching for the woman about 3:45 p.m. She said the call came in as a domestic dispute. A man and a woman, believed to be panhandlers, had been arguing when she apparently stabbed him.

She ran away, and officers were searching the area.
