Police seek man in more than 12 Oklahoma City armed robberies

Police are seeking a man connected with more than 12 Oklahoma City robberies that began Aug. 13 and include hotels, convenience stores and quick loan stores. The latest robbery was Monday at the Comfort Inn, 5704 Mosteller Drive.

Police have released a surveillance video of a man wanted for questioning in more than 12 Oklahoma City area armed robberies.

The man in the video is black, in his mid-20s, 5 feet 9 inches to 6 feet tall, weighing 170 to 180 pounds, with a slight mustache and goatee, short hair and a tattoo on his right shoulder, police Sgt. Jennifer Wardlow said.

The man has used a vehicle described as a 2005 to 2008 white Ford 500 with four doors, tinted windows and an Express Credit Auto Tag.

The robberies began Aug. 13 at the Ramada Inn at 7400 S May Ave. Since then, a robber with a gun has robbed at least six more hotels, three convenience stores and two quick loan stores, according to Oklahoma City police reports.

The latest robbery was Monday at the Comfort Inn, 5704 Mosteller Drive, police reported.

“This is somebody we want to talk to, somebody we want to question,” Wardlow said.

Police ask that anyone who has information concerning this man call Crime Stoppers at 235-7300.
