A 15-year-old girl fabricated a story claiming three men abducted and held her captive in a West Texas home, although at least one of the men could be facing sexual assault charges in the case, according to NBC News.
The site reports police said the girl likely was involved in prostitution and that she was not held against her will at the house in the city.
The girl ran away from home in Amarillo in mid-May and came to Lubbock a week or two later. She told officers she was abducted from Amarillo about two months ago and held at the home, NBC News reports.
