Police track stolen pickup from northwest to southeast Oklahoma City Friday

Police have located a stolen pickup in northwest Oklahoma City Friday. A satellite tracking device helped officers locate the pickup.

A stolen pickup with a satellite tracking device was finally found by a police helicopter Friday morning after officers spent about a half-hour looking for the vehicle throughout Oklahoma City.

The pickup was tracked to various locations before it was located at 5612 Dimple Drive in southeast Oklahoma City near S Sunnylane Road and SE 59 about 9 a.m.

No one was found with the vehicle and no arrests have been made.

It was reported stolen from the Red Carpet Car Wash at Northwest Expressway and N Pennsylvania Avenue about 8:30 a.m. has disabled the comments for this article.
