Police: Waffle House employee lied about robbery for April Fool's joke

A Virginia Waffle House employee could face charges for an April Fool’s joke, according to WTKR.com.

The station reports that Susan Tinker is accused of calling police and lying about a robbery at the restaurant.



Officers said they arrived at the scene and spent more than an hour investigating, WTKR.com reports.

Tinker then told officers that it was all an April Fool’s joke, according to WTKR.
