William and Ena Porch of Oklahoma City are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Ena Whitney Porch to John Robert Van Heuvelen of Oklahoma City.
The bride-to-be graduated in 2001 from the University of Oklahoma with a Bachelor of Fine Art degree in Visual Communication, and in 2006 from the University of Notre Dame with a Master of Fine Art degree in Graphic Design. She is a Graphic Design Professor at Southern Nazarene University and the owner of Whitney Porch Design. The prospective groom is the son of Ron and Vicki Van Heuvelen of Oskaloosa, Iowa. The groom graduated in 2001 from Iowa State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Technology. He is an Engineering Manager at Hines Interest. The couple will wed December 17, 2011 in Oklahoma City.
