The National Weather Service in Norman has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for snow, sleet and freezing rain in parts of central Oklahoma.
Wintry precipitation will develop across northeast and central Oklahoma starting Saturday afternoon, with the heaviest precipitation expected late Saturday afternoon and into the evening.
A combination of snow, sleet and freezing rain is expected with snow and sleet accumulations from one to three inches. Freezing rain could also result in ice accumulations.
Saturday's high will be in the 30s in central Oklahoma, with temperatures getting cooler during the day and lows dipping down to around 18 degrees Saturday night. The chance for precipitation is 70 percent.
Sunday will be partly cloudy with highs in the lower 30s. Sunday night is expected to be colder with temperatures in the lower teens.
