Possible storms Tues. and Wedn. into Thurs. could include heavy rainfall, hail and damaging winds

From the National Weather Service, Norman Forecast Office:

“As a front moves northward Tuesday, scattered showers and storms are expected to develop.

“Storms may become more widespread overnight.

“Modest elevated instability may lead to a few strong storms capable of producing hail and heavy rainfall.

“Updates can be found at:  http://www.srh.noaa.gov/oun/ .

“A storm system will move across the southern and central Plains late Wednesday into Thursday.

“Strong to severe storms may form ahead of this system on Wednesday.

“Hail and damaging winds appear to be the main hazards at this time, but details regarding

potential storm severity, timing and location will change. Check back for updates: http://www.srh.noaa.gov/oun/ ”
