Chat transcript: Berry Tramel on where the Texas job ranks, his favorite Thunder player and who replaces Jalen Saunders

by Berry Tramel Published: January 9, 2014
NewsOK Sports 10:23 a.m. Thanks for joining us on the Power Lunch chat today. Berry Tramel will be in at 11 a.m., so send in your questions now.
Berry Tramel 10:58 a.m. Hey, everybody, I'm up and running. So send in your questions and we'll get started.
ed 10:58 a.m. Happy New Year. Remember back to the 1960's when OU had as their mascot,Little Red? I guess due to pressure and being politically correct, we changed to the Sooner Scooner. However, Florida State has the silimilar Indian Mascot on his horse and throws a spear into the middle of the filed. Also, the crowd does their famous tomahawk chop. Whats the difference? Thanks
Berry Tramel 11:00 a.m. The primary political difference is that the Florida branch of the Seminole Nation has entered into a partnership with Florida State University. Just from a common sense standpoint, I thought Lil' Red was silly. I was nine or 10 years old when he was banished, in 1970 or '71, maybe '69, I don't remember. But I never did understand why OU had an Indian mascot when their name was the Sooners. The Schooner is WAY better. Though the Schooner didn't make the trip to New Orleans, I don't believe.
Royce Young 11:00 a.m. What Boomer on the Boomers is your favorite?
Berry Tramel 11:01 a.m. I guess Thabo. I love Thabo Sefolosha. Love his demeanor. But I've always been a big fan of Westbrook. Even in his rookie year, I was a big supporter. Ask some of the other writers. I always championed Westbrook.
Spencer 11:01 a.m. Berry, do you foresee the possibility of Texas' football financial and media monstrous success backfiring somehow and producing a mediocre product on the field, like Notre Dame the last couple of decades, for example. Just due to the incredible pressures and demands?
Berry Tramel 11:02 a.m. Yes. Already have seen it, for decades. I'm writing about that for tomorrow's Oklahoman. The Texas job isn't what it's cracked up to be. Lots of booster influence, lots of outside pressure, lots of things that make the players soft. I think Switzer is wrong. It's not the best job in America. Good luck, Charlie.
LeBron James 11:02 a.m. I'm still better than Durant. Come on Mr. Tramel, you know you are a closet King James fan.
Berry Tramel 11:02 a.m. Who says Durant is better than LeBron? No one argues otherwise.
Spencer 11:03 a.m. I heard you air your frustrations on the radio yesterday, regarding Big12 basketball scheduling, OU's in particular, 6pm tip, and how hard that would be to get to, and I agree with you. My question is, how did the actual attendance turn out?
Berry Tramel 11:03 a.m. I thought it was strong. It was listed at 13,000 and change, which is beyond capacity. And while there were a bunch of empty seats at the opening tip, it filled in nicely thereafter. I thought it was strong. With no help from the schedule makers.
KB 11:04 a.m. Berry, I'm sure you will laugh this off and say the Thunder are fine, but I think it's panic time in OKC. The 3rd-7th seeds in the west are virtually even, all with about 13 losses. Thunder sitting 5 games ahead, but take a look at their next 8 games, brutal! Would be lucky to finish 3-5. After the next 8 games, they play 4 of 5 on the road! Not good. I think it's conceivable Thunder could fall to 5th, 6th or 7th, making it virtually impossible to run through the gauntlet to the Finals, even with a healthy Westbrook.
Berry Tramel 11:06 a.m. Good night nurse, I'm glad you're not in charge. Panic time? With a five-game lead on third place? Even if the Thunder does stumble back to the pack without Westbrook, why wouldn't the Thunder spurt back up to first or second with Westbrook? And if the Thunder does finish fourth or fifth, who cares. Homecourt advantage doesn't mean all that much in the West. It's way more about matchups. The Thunder matches up very well with the SPurs and the Clippers, not so much with the Warriors. The Rockets, probably to OKC's advantage, but too early to tell. But wow. Panic? No way.
Spencer 11:06 a.m. I know not very many people like the BCS, I however thought it was decent, and I LOVE the fact that computers were involved. Computers don't react based on a very short memory, whether too high on a win, or too low on a loss, unlike humans. A computer will remember what a team accomplished against its schedule all year, and by extension, what the team's competition accomplished, so forth. Do you know if computers will be involve any with the new "committee" to determine the new football playoff?
Berry Tramel 11:07 a.m. I'm sure the computers will be involved to some degree. In the same way that the basketball committee has all kinds of literature at its disposal. The RPI, strenght of schedule, the nitty-gritty report. I'm sure the computer rankings will be available to all of the football committee.
KB 11:07 a.m. What's Baker Mayfield thinking? Transferring in after a Freshman solidifies his starting spot for the next 3 years, barring injury; and, coming to an offense that is moving away from the traditional passing attack. Doesn't make sense to me.
Berry Tramel 11:07 a.m. I still say he's chasing a girl.
Hutch 11:08 a.m. Two intesting names I have seen as potential targets if the Thunder trade Thabo. John Salmons and Al-Farouq Aminu. What are your thought on those two guys?
Berry Tramel 11:09 a.m. I'm one of the 14 people on Earth who like John Salmons. He plays tough defense. But something to remember. Salmons likes to shoot. Thabo never once has gotten in the way of Westbrook and Durant offensive demands. Salmons might. I have no opinion on Al-Farouq Aminu. Other than I hope the Thunder doesn't trade for him, because I'd have to learn to spell his name.
Hutch 11:09 a.m. Yesterday some radio host on the Franchise actually suggested that Sam Presti should consider trading Russell Westbrook for a draft pick to take Marcus Smart. Is this the most outlandish suggestion you have seen regarding the Thunder?
Berry Tramel 11:09 a.m. No, but it's in the top three. I would trade Westbrook for Chris Paul or LeBron James. Otherwise, get out of my face.
Carter 11:10 a.m. Beery, What receiver do you think will replace Saunders as the go to guy in the Sooners offense. What is the most important position that they need to shore up if they are to make a run at the national championship next year?
Berry Tramel 11:13 a.m. I think Sterling Shepard is going to be a star. I don't know if the Sooners will try to go with another smallish, slot-type guy to team with Shepard the way Shepard teamed with Saunders. I think OU will use Shepard, Durron Neal, Derrick Woods and then some young guys. Damon Cavil had their attention in August. KJ Young was a big-time recruit. So we'll see. I think you'll see more use of the tight end and/or fullback, so the Sooners might not need four wideouts at a time.
AussieSooner 11:13 a.m. Who do you see the Thunder targeting as a potential trade option using the $2.3 million trade exception attained in the Maynor deal and the worthless Philly pick we got through sending Gomes to Boston?
Berry Tramel 11:14 a.m. I have no idea. My guess is status quo, but you never know. I don't think the Thunder will add a backup point guard to get them through the Westbrook injury. More likely is trading Thabo and his expiring contract, but most likely is keeping Thabo.
Jay 11:14 a.m. I have to say Berry, remember all of the negative stuff being said about Bob Stoops, his staff, his recruiting, talent level, etc. earlier in the 2013 campaign? All of the sudden did his recruits "pan out?" Did he become smarter? Where are all of the naysayers now? I'll tell you, they're waving banners, flying windsocks, and chest thumping and crowing about how great everything is. Short memories, those folks. Makes me physically ill. Can't these people support the same in the good times and bad?
Berry Tramel 11:15 a.m. Oh, most do. But some people get frustrated. And truth is, if Justin Gilbert grabs that interception, OU loses Bedlam, the Sooners don't get a shot at Alabama and OU plays Mizzou in the Cotton Bowl, where maybe OU wins and maybe it doesn't. It's a short walk between the outhouse and the penthouse.
Jared Hughes 11:15 a.m. It seems to me the most important thing nationally about OU beating Bama, and FSU beating Auburn, is that the SEC will no longer be entitled to 2 of 4 playoff spots out of the gate next year. 4-team playoff should be 4 conference champs, absent extraordinary circumstances, and a 1-loss SEC team is not extraordinary. Thoughts?
Berry Tramel 11:16 a.m. I think it's going to be tough to keep the SEC from having two teams. Look at the final AP poll. The SEC ranked 2-4-5-7. I agree, I think conference champions only should be in the Football Four. But the SEC has too much power to let that happen.
KevinDonaldson 11:16 a.m. What is Presti up to? I see smoke signals coming out of the tepee at Thunder Integris Health training facility? It "seems" he's jocky-ing for trade?
Berry Tramel 11:16 a.m. He clearly is moving in position to trade. But that doesn't Presti will trade. If you don't keep your options open, deals are blocked. But just because options are open doesn't mean you have to trade.
dr. el prez 11:16 a.m. Berry, in retrospect, should the Big 12 have added both Louisville and Cincy to get back to twelve teams and a championship game? Plus...who's the better head coach ...Charlie Strong or Bobby Petrino?
Berry Tramel 11:18 a.m. Well, first, Petrino clearly is the more proven coach. And Strong clearly is the coach you'd rather have. Selling your soul is no way to live. I don't necessarily think the Big 12 should have added Cincy. You could always go and add Cincinnati, if it beefed up its program, invested, played well, etc. But clearly the Big 12 should have added Louisville. If you ever need to get to 12, it's much easier to get there from 11 than 10. Just another sign of misguided Big 12 leadership.
w 11:18 a.m. why does brooks go small when a team goes small then go big when the other team do so? why doesnt he just keep the same rotation out there like the pacers, heat, spurs and other top teams?
Berry Tramel 11:20 a.m. Primarily because the Thunder can play a variety of ways. The flexibility is one of the Thunder strengths. The other franchises make adjustments, too. Heck, the Spurs, you never know what they might do. The Heat is pretty predictable. Often start big, then go and stay small. But Brooks seems to play who he wants to play, then if the other team goes one way, Brooks reacts, because he easily can.
D in Edmond 11:20 a.m. Hey Berry - Love your writing... I'm sick of all the SEC hatred around here. I'm a die-hard OU fan, but the fact is, the SEC DOMINATED college football for basically the past decade. Give them their due and quit complaining. We just sound silly when we blame the SEC winning on ESPN or whatever else....I feel like the SEC would have much rather had OU than Missouri in the first place, and I believe we're slowly heading toward 16-team (or more) megaconferences. I personally would LOVE to see OU in the SEC, and the Pokes too for that matter! I know there are tons of hoops/politics/contracts, etc. to jump through before it could ever happen, but man it would be awesome......My question is, with the Big 12 basically in make-shift mode (with TCU, WVU, etc.), do you believe there's any chance OU could land in the SEC one day?
Berry Tramel 11:21 a.m. Oh sure. But it's a long way away. At least 10 years before the Big 12 disintegrates or changes radically. And I still think it's more likely that in the future, OU and OSU end up West rather than East. I could still see OU, OSU, Texas and Tech in the Pac.
AussieSooner 11:21 a.m. Who do you see the Thunder targeting as a potential trade option using the $2.3 million trade exception acquired in the Maynor deal from a year ago and the worthless Philly pick received in sending Gomes to Boston earlier this week?
Berry Tramel 11:22 a.m. Oops. Repeat question. Sorry.
Joel 11:22 a.m. If OU can escape the injury bug and Trevor Knight can perform anywhere near the way he did against Bama consistently I think OU will make the 4 team playoff next year. I'm honestly a little baffled that he played that way as he hadn't shown anything close to that previously (although the coaches have been raving about him in practices for some time now) except for a few flashes here and there. Was this a one game fluke or can he keep that going? It's interesting to think of what might have happened in the Texas and Baylor games had he played.
Berry Tramel 11:24 a.m. Knight's progression will be interesting. I think it's more likely that he keeps playing well than reverts to poor passing. It looked to me like he had a breakthrough in confidence, as much as anything. The thing to remember about Knight is that he's made five starts and has three complete games. Three! So Knight is just now getting started.
Guest 11:24 a.m. Thabo, Thabeet, PJ3 and a draft pick for Aaron Affalo and Doron Lamb?
Berry Tramel 11:25 a.m. Sign me up. Sign me up right now. I love Afflalo. I'd miss Thabo, but Afflalo is a very good defender who can also score.
Guest 11:25 a.m. I've have criticised Bob's coaching for the last several years. Could criticism if used sparingly help turn the Tide?
Berry Tramel 11:27 a.m. By Tide, do you mean general tide, or Crimson Tide? Holding people accountable is never a bad thing. Stoops likes to say now that everything was on an even-keel, but he's just talking. He's fired four assistants and demoted another in the last two years, and I promise you, there was hell to pay after Texas. Those meetings rooms were not pleasant. Baylor, OU just got whipped. Nothing worked. But that Texas game showed that the Sooner coaching had become lackadaisical.
Crimson Jesus 11:27 a.m. Reports have Lane Kiffin interviewing at Alabama OC. How does he keep falling up into jobs?
Berry Tramel 11:28 a.m. Good night I don't know. Let me promise you one thing. If Kiffin does become Saban's coordinator, the next time Bama plays at Tennessee, Kiffin needs to enter Neyland Stadium under dark of night, with lots of security, and take sanctuary in the pressbox. Then leave the same. He is a marked man in Tennessee.
Guest 11:28 a.m. Is Travis Ford setting a bad example for future recruits of how he his handling Clark's troubles in FL and his arrest in Edmond? Is he setting himself up for recruiting deliquient players?
Berry Tramel 11:29 a.m. I don't think he's setting himself up for recruiting delinquent players. He is setting himself up for scrutiny if Clark doesn't straighten out soon. I think Ford is just trying to corral Clark, while also helping the ball team, of course. But surely Clark is down to his final strike.
KB 11:30 a.m. When the Thunder go 3-5 in their next 8, I will come back and remind you of who panicked first :)
Berry Tramel 11:30 a.m. If the Thunder goes 8-0 or 0-8, 3-5 or 5-3, there's no reason to remind anyone. I'm not panicking. These aren't the Blazers, just new to the stage. The Thunder season will be written in May. Not in January.
AussieSooner 11:30 a.m. If the Thunder trade off Thabo do we see more Roberson? Sure, he's limited on the offensive side but he hits the boards hard and plays strong defense. In a starting line-up with Durant and either a healthy Westbrook or even Jackson we don't need much more.
Berry Tramel 11:31 a.m. I like Roberson. I wouldn't mind seeing him play more. I'd have used him more Tuesday night in Utah. He seemed one of the few guys staying in front of anyone.
Keith "Two-Bit" Mathews 11:31 a.m. Barry, What do they normally serve the media people in the Santee lounge and why is Dean Blevins always still eating during Coach Stoops questions and answer sessions?
Berry Tramel 11:32 a.m. Oh, it's usually some kind of cafeteria fare. It's OK. Better this year than last year. Nothing special. Dean usually gets there just before noon, so he has to grab a plate on the fly.
AussieSooner 11:32 a.m. Berry, with the huge commitment of Joe Mixon and also Samaje Perine, what role is Alex Ross likely to play for the Sooners next year?
Berry Tramel 11:33 a.m. I don't know. Ross I don't think won over a bunch of coaches with his play this season.
Keith "Two-Bit" Mathews 11:33 a.m. Barry, how come Coach Kish isn't getting more props? I think that he was a huge get when Mike Stoops came back home last year. Seems that Kish has the defensive backfield playing like crazy.
Berry Tramel 11:33 a.m. Well, Kish is coaching the linebackers. Stoops is coaching the DBs. I don't know if you still feel that he deserves props, but knowing his position is a good place to start.
Glenda 11:33 a.m. I don't know about a Thunder acquisition of Paul, not that it would ever happen. I understand that Paul lusts for full control on the court, and if teammates don't cooperate, watch out for Paul's leveling correction.
Berry Tramel 11:34 a.m. Chris Paul is the third-best player in the NBA. I love Westbrook, but Paul is even better.
AussieSooner 11:34 a.m. Any chance Blake Bell tries his hand at TE? I love his tenacity and competitive nature!
Berry Tramel 11:35 a.m. I guess there's always a chance. I don't know. He comes from a tight end family. I don't think Bell has a bad option. Graduate and quarterback elsewhere? Great. Move to tight end? Might be fun. Stay the backup quarterback, knowing you've got a win at Notre Dame and a Bedlam Bell on your belt notch? Looks like three good options to me.
DKL 11:35 a.m. Royce Young wrote an article today exploring potential trades that Oklahoma City could could pursue to take advantage of that 2.3 million that they have under the luxury tax. Two names that jumped out at me were CJ Miles from Cleveland and Gary Neal. I believe either would be a good for OKC, what are your thoughts? It can work salary wise and keep them under the luxury tax.
Berry Tramel 11:36 a.m. Depends on for who? Thabo? I don't like it. Trade Thabo, you better get some defense. Sefolosha was bad on defense in Salt Lake, but he's generally very solid. That's why I like Afflalo. Yes, he can score. He also can defend.
Hutch 11:36 a.m. I love Salmons too. This season he is only averaging .5 shots more with Toronto. Thabo actually took more shots per game last season than Salmons so I doubt that would be an issue.
Berry Tramel 11:38 a.m. Per 36 minutes, Salmons took more, both this season and last.
Glenda 11:38 a.m. Sportswriters and analysts frequently express that a great end-of-season victory is something the winning team can build on entering next season. But hardly explain what can be built.
Berry Tramel 11:39 a.m. You raise a good point. How much does a big bowl victory boost a team into the next season? The scholarship does not really say. Clearly, a big bowl victory does improve team morale, everything from going to class to off-season workouts. But I don't know that it's ever been proven that a big bowl victory jumpstarts a team's next-season success.
Glenda 11:39 a.m. My take, that the Sooners big victory over Alabama will lead to the returning Sooners motivated to practice hard in the off season, to improve their play, to improve their NFL chances, and to improve the team to an entry into the new final four and win it all.
Berry Tramel 11:40 a.m. Or they might go 10-3 again. I mean, think about how small is the difference between victory and defeat. If Justin Gilbert catches that interception in Stillwater, OU is 9-3, going to the Cotton Bowl and Alabama never happens.
Carter 11:40 a.m. What round do you see Stewart going in the draft. I think he will be a very nice addition to some team.
Berry Tramel 11:40 a.m. I'd say fifth. His draft listing is 4-7. He's very small. And not a speed burner, like Tavon Austin. I think he's going to have trouble sticking.
dr. el prez 11:40 a.m. Berry, Sam Bradford as an NFL quarterback...what will be saying three years down the road?
Berry Tramel 11:41 a.m. Sam Bradford is a good quarterback, with reasonable but not great success, and the Rams are going to have to make a decision.
dj 11:41 a.m. Does ou finish in one of the four playoffs spots next year?
Berry Tramel 11:42 a.m. Oh, if you asked me to guess now, I'd say yes, because the schedule is advantageous. But the trouble with an easy schedule is that there's no room for error. 11-1 probably won't get the Sooners in. For instance, OU plays Tennessee next year. I talked to a Tennessee fan last night who picks the Vols to go 3-9.
Carlos/Kansa 11:42 a.m. What is the limit for 2014 Sooner defense..could it be one of the past of being dominant...
Berry Tramel 11:42 a.m. I doubt it can reach 2001 or 2009 levels. Those were dominant defenses. In the Big 12 these days, just hanging on is good defense and usually enough to win.
Guest 11:42 a.m. The Nation had an interesting take on the Florida State mascot issue written by Dave Zirin. It was painful, as an American Indian, listening to that horrid chant throughout the game and made me want to root against them just for that reason even though I cannot stand the supposed pre-eminence of the SEC!
Berry Tramel 11:43 a.m. The Seminoles in Oklahoma I've talked to are not happy with the Seminoles in the South.
ThunderJake 11:43 a.m. Hey Berry. Do you have any concern that even with a healthy Westbrook, we have too much youth to "win now"? I love Lamb and Reggie, but in a close game/series against the heat, they will be forced to hit shots and produce, and as good as KD and Russ are, that's in my opinion what it will come down to.
Berry Tramel 11:44 a.m. No. I don't think that's the problem. I think even Miami has had to rely on youth. Norris Cole, anyone? The trouble is, sometimes when you're good enough to win, you still don't. The Thunder has put itself in position, now it's headed for the playoffs and should be favored in every series until the Finals. Maybe OKC will win, maybe it won't. It all comes down to how you play. Miami is the NBA champ today because Ray Allen hit that clutch 3 in the corner. Nothing cosmic about it. If that shot clangs off, it doesn't change one thing about the Spurs or the Heat. Sometimes it's just the way the ball bounces.
Dallas Sooner 11:44 a.m. Not sure how people are planning on an OU in the CFP next year with a quarterback with 5 games under his belt - are expectations too high?
Berry Tramel 11:45 a.m. Probably. I'm reasonably optimistic about Knight, but you're right. He's played five games, completed three and been good in one and great in another. That's not a lot to go on.
Spencer 11:45 a.m. It looks like OU football is going to sign a really good 2014 class in Feb. Are there any other bigtime guys that they are targeting, or that are considering OU?
Berry Tramel 11:45 a.m. I have no idea. Recruiting is all fantasy football to me.
AussieSooner 11:45 a.m. Any chance Bob calls it a career in 5-8 years and brother Mike takes over?
Berry Tramel 11:46 a.m. Doesn't seem likely that Mike would replace Bob. That's not the vibe I get.
Bubba 11:46 a.m. Break out your crystal ball Berry... What will be the Sooners record be next year? If they lose, who will they lose to?
Berry Tramel 11:46 a.m. Oh, I have no idea. Let's see. At Tech will be tough. At Ames is a trap. Texas can always go either way. I'll guess OU goes 12-1.
Cross Timber 11:46 a.m. I love Stoops, don't want him going anywhere. But just hypothetically if he left...who are the first names you think of that OU would call?
Berry Tramel 11:47 a.m. Kevin Sumlin. Kirby Smart. Pat Fitzgerald. How's that for a start.
Will 11:48 a.m. Berry- Why did Bama get a sort of pass from nat'l media for "not showing up" in the Sugar Bowl, but it was Johnny Football and the Miracles last year in the Cotton Bowl when the Sooners clearly didn't have much to play for? Seems hypocritical
Berry Tramel 11:49 a.m. Alabama didn't get blown out. OU did. Getting blown out in a bowl is not good. And did Bama "not show up?" I would argue that Bama did show up. Came out early, hit OU hard and OU hit back. It was a fabulous ballgame. I think the national media has come to two conclusions from the Sugar: 1) Fabulous game; 2) OU is to be reckoned with.
Bubba 11:49 a.m. Will we see Tibor Pliess come over from Europe and play in OKC anytime soon?
Berry Tramel 11:49 a.m. I hear he's ready to come over. I have no idea if he's the next Steven Adams or the next Hasheem Thabeet.
dr. el prez 11:49 a.m. Berry, on a level from one to ten (ten being highest), where is Boone's angst level in regards to Gundy and the whole Sexton---then Tennessee charade?
Berry Tramel 11:49 a.m. 8 or 9.
Bubba 11:49 a.m. Do you think Cam Clark will be drafted?
Berry Tramel 11:49 a.m. I doubt it. But I'm no expert.
AussieSooner 11:50 a.m. Did Cameron Clack shoot himself into potential first round zone with his solid game last night against Kansas?
Berry Tramel 11:50 a.m. No chance. Second-round at best.
Galileo 11:50 a.m. Berry I'm sure you have enough "real" sports results to follow in order to keep yourself busy, but you really should reconsider your stance on recruiting. It matters. It's the lifeblood of a successful college football program. Understand that nobody can accurately predict the future success of young kids, but you shouldn't minimize the importance of rankings. All else being equal, programs that sign the higher rated recruits have more success and put more players in the NFL.
Berry Tramel 11:52 a.m. Recruiting does matter. I've always said that. Recruiting rankings do NOT matter. In fact, they're bogus. When Ronnell Lewis goes from zero stars to three stars ONLY because he committed to OU, it tells you the rankings are bogus. When Teddy Bridgewater committed to Louisville, he dropped from a five to a four. Do you realize what recruiting rankings are? They a way to get in your pocketbook. Have you not figured that out? They are seizing upon the desire of fans to hope for better times.
soonersam 11:52 a.m. why isn't ou ranked number one? They are clearly the best in the land
Berry Tramel 11:52 a.m. In what sport are we talking about? Women's gymnastics? Softball?
Bubba 11:52 a.m. Does Sherry Coale get enough credit for making OU women's basketball relevant every year?
Berry Tramel 11:53 a.m. I'm afraid she does. She's paid $800,000 a year and people all over the state love her. Exactly what do you want to come her way?
Bubba 11:53 a.m. Has Dennis Rodman lost his mind?
Berry Tramel 11:53 a.m. Yes. In 1991.
Cross Timber 11:53 a.m. Berry...I know it's a long shot, but do you foresee any scenario where OKC could land another pro team? MLB makes most sense to me, but it still seems impossible given our size and proximity to Arlington. The only thing that gives me pause is that I absolutely NEVER believed we'd see the NBA here, and obviously it works. Thoughts?
Berry Tramel 11:54 a.m. No chance. The numbers don't work. Not enough corporate base. You basically need at least a million people for every franchise. So 1.4 million? One franchise. 2.2 million? Two franchises.
Berry Tramel 11:54 a.m. OK, everybody. Good stuff. Talk to you next week.
