NewsOK Sports 9:49 a.m. Derek Fisher is off to the Big Apple. Who will take his place in the Thunder rotation? How will he fare in NYC? Jenni Carlson will be on at 11 a.m. to discuss Fisher's hire, as well as OU, OSU and the Thunder offseason.

In case you missed it, here's Carlson's column on the Fisher departure, and the need for the Thunder to find his replacement:
Jenni Carlson 10:12 a.m. Hey, all! Can't wait to get chatting. Send those questions in now. We can talk Thunder, NBA Finals, Sooners, Cowboys ... I'm up for anything!
Jenni Carlson 11:00 a.m. Go time!
Get Real 11:00 a.m. Derek Fisher will do fine in NY as long as he does exactly what Phil Jackson says to do. Jackson will be continuing his coaching career through Fisher without having to make all the road trips that were so hard on his body. After a few losses, Fisher will have to endure hearing the "We Want Phil!" chant from the NY fans. Do you agree he will just be Phil's puppet?
Jenni Carlson 11:01 a.m. Puppet? No. Understudy? Sure. I don't think Derek Fisher is anybody's puppet. The guy is too smart, too sharp, too discerning to be a puppet. I just don't see him allowing that. ...
Jenni Carlson 11:02 a.m. But why wouldn't he try to learn from Jackson? Phil Jackson is one of the greatest coaches in NBA history. He has a lot to teach to an inexperienced coach, so I definitely believe Fisher will use him as a continuous resource.
Bryan 11:02 a.m. Do you think Fisher would have been better off startin as a coach somewhere else?
Jenni Carlson 11:03 a.m. Oh, I don't know. There are different issues everywhere you go. Yes, the lights are bright in NYC. Yes, Knicks owner Jim Dolan is a piece of work. ...
Jenni Carlson 11:04 a.m. But the Knicks have all the resources in the world. If done the right way by Jackson and Fisher, the Knicks could be a power in a couple years. Will it be done the right way? I have no way of knowing, but I suspect they'll do it better than it's been done the last decade or so. ...
Jenni Carlson 11:05 a.m. So, could Fish have started in a place like Detroit or Minnesota or somewhere like that and not faced the scrutiny? Sure. But those places don't have the resources that the Knicks do. Will be highly interesting to see what he and Jackson do with those type of funds.
GG 11:05 a.m. Enjoyed your column today. I don't think you can replace what Fisher brought to the Thunder as much as they might try. I think it's up to the other players maturing rather than finding an outright replacement. What do you think?
Jenni Carlson 11:05 a.m. Hey, thanks, GG! ...
Jenni Carlson 11:06 a.m. Like I wrote, I don't think there's another guy in the league who's exactly like Fisher. No player has won as many titles, is as much of a coach in the making, is as much of a great locker room guy. But there are definitely good veteran locker room guys out there. ...
Jenni Carlson 11:06 a.m. I mentioned Chauncey Billups, Mike Miller and Beno Udrih has possibilities, and frankly, the more I think about it, the more I like Billups as a possibility. ...
Jenni Carlson 11:07 a.m. Gosh, I remember interacting with him all the way back when he was at Colorado, and he was super sharp and impressive even back then as a college guy. I think he could be a really nice veteran option.
Jenni Carlson 11:08 a.m. OK, I'm going to insert a question from a friend on Twitter: What are the chances the USA team makes it out of the group stage?
Jenni Carlson 11:08 a.m. Yes, a World Cup question! Who else is fired up about WC? I am.
