PHOENIX (AP) — Officials say power is being restored a terminal at Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport after an outage delayed flights.

Airport spokeswoman Heather Lissner says the outage struck around 3:30 p.m. Sunday and was confined to Terminal 3.

The outage affected escalators and baggage carousels and emergency lighting illuminated walkways for passengers in the terminal.

Lissner says at least three outgoing American Airlines flights were delayed about 20 to 25 minutes.

Other incoming and outgoing flights were delayed, but Lissner did not know how many were affected.

Delta, Frontier, JetBlue and Hawaiian airlines also operate in the terminal.

Information on the cause of the outage was not immediately available.
