A new collaborative beer coming down the chute from Prairie Artisan Ales will have roots in Oklahoma and Scandinavia.
Potlatch, a dry-hopped Brett ale, was brewed in Tulsa and in Sweden, Prairie brewmaster Chase Healey said.
Healey said he teamed up with Swedish brewer Omnipollo on the beer, which is due for release in Oklahoma in early February. The plan was “to see how the two beers compare considering our locations,” he said.
U.S. consumers will get the version of the beer brewed in Tulsa, and European drinkers will have the batch made in Sweden.
The farmhouse ale checks in at 7% ABV and was dry-hopped using Mosaic hops, Healey said.
