Boyer said an officer shined a light in her eye when she got out of the vehicle, and she felt like she was having some type of medical episode.

Boyer was taken to a hospital for medical clearance. According to the report, Boyer told officers she was taking Xanax, Soma and drank three dark beers earlier Thursday. She said Monday she's also taking Percocet for back problems that developed 10 years ago after a vehicle accident.

Boyer said she went to pick up dinner for her family about 3:30 p.m. Thursday and drank three beers at a restaurant while the food was being prepared. She said she was told a couple of dark beers can alleviate swelling brought on by pregnancy.

“I know with the medication, we're not supposed to mix the two,” she said. “I should have never got behind the wheel to drive. I never should have done that.”

Boyer was booked into the Oklahoma County jail after the hospital visit and released Saturday, records show.

Police said she has had two prior arrests on driving under the influence complaints. The most recent arrest was in February 2009 in Oklahoma City. Court records show she pleaded guilty in that case. Boyer said she was also arrested when she 17 for drunken driving.
