Oklahoma City Energy FC announced its preseason schedule on Thursday morning, with two home games on tap and three road games.
The first chance to see professional soccer in Oklahoma City this year will come on Saturday, March 8 at 7 p.m. when Nebraska-Omaha visits. The game will be played at Norman North high school while renovations continue on Pribil Stadium at Bishop McGuinness, where this season’s home games will be played.
Energy FC also hosts Northeastern on March 14, after traveling to Tulsa to play Oral Roberts. That game will be played in Edmond at the Edmond Soccer Club.
The final two preseason games will both be on the road when Oklahoma City travels to Tyler Junior College on March 19 and Southern Methodist on March 22.
Tyler Junior College is coming off a National runner-up performance last fall. It has played for three National Championships since 2009. Oral Roberts and Nebraska-Omaha finished second and third respectively in the Summit League in 2013.
Preseason games are free to attend. The regulars season kicks off April 5 in Los Angeles and the first home match of the season is April 26 against Orlando City SC.
