President Obama's goal questioned

Regarding “Government responds to Hobby Lobby and Mardel appeal” (Business, Dec. 1): What's happened to our judges and court system? The Green family spent many hours of labor and many dollars to start and build businesses that provide jobs to a lot of people. Now a federal judge says the Greens don't have any say in how they're operated? What if the government passed a law requiring each employer to provide free alcoholic drinks to all employees during work hours and away from the job? Would the courts rule the Green family must do so?

Better yet, what if the federal governments passed a law requiring all employers to provide private rooms and beds in the workplace so employees could have sex during their breaks? Numerous laws could be passed and, under the current ruling of the court, the employer would have to comply.

Is President Obama's ultimate goal to close as many businesses as possible so the federal government can take over and operate them as they currently do the government?
