With a wide-ranging roster for this year's event, Tulsa's Diversafest announced the lineup for its eighth annual music conference, including headlining act, The Black Crowes.
Dfest Co-founder Angie Devore Green said 164 acts will perform at the event in and around Tulsa's Blue Dome District, calling it "the most music we've ever showcased."
Organizers predict attendance will top 70,000 to see music performed on 14 stages, including two large outdoor stages. Green said many more acts will be added to the roster between now and May 8.
But music isn't the only thing going on at Dfest. It's also business conference where music industry professionals can connect with emerging artists and those seeking a career in music.
The Dfest Yoga Conference and Festival debuts this year. It's a two-day yoga convention, featuring Oklahoma’s finest purveyors and professionals in the mind. body and spirit industries. DFest is adding this part of the convention to emphasize the importance of both the music and yoga communities place in a spiritually evolved, eco-conscious lifestyle.
