Product Review: Teether blankie & other eco-friendly baby-friendly products

“Made with love.”

That is the message on the label for the Petites Frites teether blankie that arrived in the mail recently.

The 12-inch square, easy-to-handle teething cloth is pure softness, made with 71 percent unbleached cotton, 29 percent lyocell and baby-friendly dyes. I’m not familiar with lyocell … but this fabric is cozy!

Cozy and adorable! The muted rose blankie has embellishments on each of the four corners to interest a baby’s gnawing urge.

I’ve had three children, and I am a little jealous that so many wonderful new products are available now that are more eco-friendly and soft, soft, soft.

Information provided to me about the Petites Frites line of baby essentials described the products as having “practical designs and simple bohemian details.” If the sample I received is any indication, I love their products.

The collection includes bibs, burp cloths, teether blankets and baby blankets, retailing for $11 to $52.
