Lights, cameras, you know the drill. We began flipping light switches and recording videos back in 2007. Here we are in 2014. And still shooting video.

I’d like to think our production is greatly improved. I know I’ve learned a ton. It helps to surround yourself with talented crew members who have the patience to put up with your crazy ideas and requests.

And so here we are seven years down the road. What did we do today in school? First, we covered the lack of schools. Greg Singleton captured video of the press conference by OKC schools interim superintendent Dave Lopez.

We disected some of the great video shot at the Sugar and Cotton Bowls for OU and OSU football updates.

This includes Mike Gundy’s classic response to an SI reporter following the Cotton Bowl.

Our Thunder Buddies, Anthony Slater and Darnell Mayberry, dialed up Desmond Mason for this week’s podcast. Sponsored by Bob Moore Ford.

And speaking of sponsors, one of the most classic pre-rolls on NewsOK is by Brad Reeser. You know the one. “Are you looking for a home in Edmond? I sell Edmond!” Mr. Reeser is quite the imposing guy in person: booming voice from a tall, broad-shouldered man. And a good guy to work with. We shot some upcoming advertisements on the green screen, to be completed with some Edmond pics and footage.

Just another day in the studio: random shooting as mentioned above, the Thunder Insider taping its weekly show, and The Play kicking off the week of headlines.
