Professor awarded grant for cancer research
MONROE, La. (AP) — A pharmacy professor at the University of Louisiana at Monroe has received around $50,000 in grant funding for his efforts in breast cancer research.
The university says a news release that Yong-Yu Liu, M.D., Ph.D., submitted a grant proposal to the Mizutani Foundation for Glycoscience and was one of 16 funded proposals out of a total of 150 proposals submitted from 27 countries.
