NORMAN — Proposed art projects for two downtown intersections will be on display next week at the Norman Public Library, 225 N Webster Ave.
The scale-model sculptures will be on display Monday through Friday, and members of the Norman Public Arts Board will interview the artists in a closed session Sunday.
Artists asked to submit proposals are Jonathan Hils, Hugh Meade, Stan Carroll and Craig Swan.
Two of the works will be purchased by the arts board and installed at the Main Street intersections at Webster Avenue and Santa Fe Avenue.
The public is invited to view the proposed art pieces and leave written comments. The sculptures will be in the Gallery Room during the library's regular business hours.
