A public hearing on proposed hunting and fishing regulation changes for 2013 will be held Tuesday at 7 p.m. in Oklahoma City at the Oklahoma Department of Wildlife Conservation, 1801 N. Lincoln.

The most controversial proposal is reducing the buck limit to one for the combined deer gun and muzzleloader seasons.

Tuesday’s meeting will be the only public hearing held by the Wildlife Department on the proposals.

Sportsmen can officially comment on the new proposals through Friday on the Wildlife Department’s website, www.wildlifedepartment.com.

The comments will be presented to the eight-member Oklahoma Wildlife Conservation Commission, which will vote on the proposals at a future date.
