Putnam City High School's three concert bands welcomed the holiday season with their annual winter concert.
The school's jazz ensemble and symphonic bands performed a variety of holiday tunes Dec. 13.
The wind symphony, which has been invited to perform Jan. 19 in Tulsa at the Oklahoma Music Educators Association's annual convention, previewed the January show.
The wind symphony will give a final preview show on Jan. 15 during which it will perform with Oklahoma City University's wind philharmonic. That event will begin at 7 p.m. at the Putnam City High School Auditorium.
The bands are directed by Darby Cassaday and Megan Coatney.
