Six students were checked for injuries after a school bus collided with another vehicle about 3:20 p.m. Thursday, Putnam City School District spokesman Steve Lindley said.
The bus had 26 Putnam City North High School students on board when the accident occurred near Hefner Road and Rockwell Avenue, Lindley said.
The students were evaluated by EMSA workers and the school district's health service coordinator before they were allowed off the bus, he said.
Two of the students were released to their parents. The other four rode the bus home.
Another bus was brought to the accident scene and the students were moved from the wrecked bus.
