Do the Blazers have good enough goaltending?
Yes, without a doubt. That's our strongest position.
Do the Blazers have enough scoring?
Time will tell. I don't think we have enough scoring right now. I don't think we have enough natural scoring right now. So that's one thing that's a question mark.
Do the Blazers have enough grit, toughness?
If I had a choice between bringing in a tough guy or a scorer, I'd bring in a scorer. I think we're OK in the toughness department. We have to improve our intensity.
Are the Blazers' specialty teams (power plays and penalty killing) good enough?
That's to be determined. It's the old philosophy of your five has to outwork their four, or your four has to outwork their five. You can call that team play.
Do the Blazers have enough depth from players 1 through 18?
Right now I think that's an unknown.
We'll have possibly five new forwards and four new defensemen.
