Q&A: Kansas QB Dayne Crist adjusting after transfer from Notre Dame

This team's a lot better than that. Those are all things that are really not as important as other things. At the end of the year, none of those things are accurate 100 percent either. We're not motivated by those things additionally. We've got our own motivation and are confident in our abilities and are looking to do something special this year.

You're going to be playing for the first time in an actual conference. What are you most looking forward to about that?

It's all very new to me, so I'm excited. I think, you know, even stuff like this, I've never been to any conference media day or anything like that. It was all just kind of handled at school. I'm just trying to soak everything in. I know that it's a) new but b) my only year here, so I'm trying to take everything in and make the most of every opportunity.

What's it been like rejoining Charlie Weis?

Phenomenal. It's everything I could have hoped for and more. Just very fortunate to have this opportunity.
