I scout, see what other players are doing. I give postgame thoughts overall, what happened, our pick-and-roll coverages, how we can improve.
It actually feels good to be part of it. You sit down and talk to the coaches every day, and you feel like your two cents actually counts. I think it's keeping me on my toes.
I sit with Eric during the games, and everybody sees we joke and laugh on the bench, but there's not a second of the game we're not talking about what we see, how an opposing player is breaking us down and being successful, or how we're being successful.
We try to relay the message to each other and to the coaches, and sometimes they take our tidbits. I like to think it helps tremendously. We're going to keep doing what we do.
How has this experience overall helped you as you move forward in your career?
It keeps you humble. I've always got to stay on my toes. I have to stay ready regardless, because you never know what's going to happen in the league. It's been a great situation for me.
