A: Everybody knows they need to change; everybody's scared to change. My worth with a company or team is to dispel the fear of the change and understand that the change doesn't take long, and you usually haven't got to change a lot. Everybody is so scared of change, but they forget that every good thing that ever happened to you happened because something changed. People think that change takes a long time; it doesn't. Preparing to change may take a long time. Figuring out whether you want to change or not may take a long time. But the change really happens very quickly. Change happens in a heartbeat. There are only two things that are required for people to change immediately: No. 1 is what's in it for me? If you want people to buy into change, that one thing had better be there. The second thing that has to be there is proof beyond a logical doubt. It just has to make sense.
