Q&A with Blake Griffin: Clippers standout discusses NBA lockout, Lon Kruger

Have you considered going overseas to play?

I'm not opposed to it, but at the same time, right now, my focus is working out and trying to get better. If it comes to that point, I might take a look at it. But that doesn't mean anything's going to happen.

The Sooners have a new coach. What do you think of Lon Kruger?

I think he's going to be great for the program. He's already done a good job of getting out there. I know he has an alumni weekend coming up at the end of August, and I'll be back for that. I'm completely behind him a hundred percent and trying to help out in whatever way possible.

Are you excited about the future of the Clippers?

Definitely. I like the direction that we're headed, and I like our guys. I think we have a great core of guys, old and young, experienced and a little bit inexperienced. We were very, very, very young last year and had some bad injuries. Hopefully, we can keep the ball rolling and get that playoff spot.
