→Getting the chance to play and playing well in the Sun Bowl after Jackson sat with the concussion, did that give you a lot of confidence going into the spring?
"That gave me a lot of confidence, just that I was able to show the coaches that I was ready to play and ready to step in. That gave me a lot of confidence going into the spring, getting stronger, getting faster, getting better. Now, I’m working on technique and trying to get better.”
→You had one year to learn from Brian and Dom. What did you learn from them?
"I learned a lot. They taught me a lot on and off the field. I’d have to say that’s what made me, got me through the summer and the fall. They helped me out a lot once I stepped on campus. I learned the plays, how to play different techniques with different plays. I learned a lot from them.”
