MOBILE, Ala. (AP) — The Senior Bowl quarterbacks can just enjoy the game now.

They've weathered the meetings and practices before an audience of NFL types leading up to Saturday's showcase game for senior pro prospects.

The game itself will pit the small-school South passers against North quarterbacks from more high-profile programs.

Fresno State's Derek Carr, San Jose State's David Fales and Eastern Illinois' Jimmy Garoppolo lead the South.

The North quarterbacks include Clemson's Tajh Boyd, Miami's Stephen Morris and Virginia Tech's Logan Thomas.

They're all trying to parlay this week into higher draft stock. The three highest-rated quarterback prospects in most mock drafts are all underclassmen.

Carr's brother, David, went on to become the No. 1 overall pick of the expansion Houston Texans in the 2002 draft after playing in the Senior Bowl.
