Final competitions are today for most of the amateur events in the American Quarter Horse Association’s Bank of America Amateur and FedEx Open World Championship Show.
Where?
The show is being held at State Fair Park in Oklahoma City. All of the events take place at the Jim Norick State Fair Arena.
When?
This weekend, preliminaries for most of the open events begin, continuing through next week. The events begin each day at 9 a.m., with the final event of the day starting
at 7 p.m.
Who?
Nearly 3,500 participants are in town for the show, hailing from 48 states, Canada, Brazil, Germany, Italy and the United Kingdom.
How?
General admission tickets are $7, and reserved seats are $10. For tickets, call OK Tickets at 948-6827.
