That seems to be the strategy among the folks at Yes on 744, a group working for passage of State Question 744. On the ballot in November, SQ 744 would require that per-pupil funding for common education in Oklahoma be equal to the regional average. As Yes on 744 says on its website, a yes vote "will help ensure that Oklahoma's children receive the high quality education they deserve.”
