The weather will be quiet around Oklahoma on Saturday and through early next week.
The National Weather Service said high pressure will remain in control through at least Tuesday, keeping dry, stable conditions in place. Temperatures will run above average through much of the period.
On Friday, skies were mostly clear and temperatures ranged from 75 degrees in Muskogee to 80 degrees in Clinton, Frederick and Lawton. The high in Altus, Bartlesville, Gage, Guymon, Oklahoma City, Stillwater and Tulsa was 78 degrees, forecasters said.
Skies should be partly to mostly sunny on Saturday, with highs in the 80s and lows in the 50s.
Partly cloudy conditions will prevail Sunday through Wednesday, with high temperatures reaching the 80s and 90s through the period.
There will be a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms in extreme southeastern Oklahoma on Wednesday, but other areas of the state are expected to remain dry.
Lows should dip into the 50s and 60s Monday through Wednesday nights, forecasts said.
