Raffle formed to help Jenni Kufahl

by Jacob Unruh Published: April 15, 2014

A raffle for a Smart Shelters storm shelter has been formed with all proceeds going to help Jenni Kufahl and her family while they receive treatment for her cancer.

Kufahl, 39, is battling Stage IV cancer in her appendix and is currently receiving treatment at Envita in Scottsdale, Ariz., after recently receiving a bleak prognosis. The treatment, though, is not covered by the family’s insurance.

The raffle can be found at here. Tickets are $10 apiece and there is no limit.

The goal is to raise $20,000 and the drawing for the storm shelter will take place the first weekend of May.

The storm shelter will hold 12-14 people and is valued at $4,895. The winner will receive installation within the Oklahoma City area and the prize is transferrable if the winner does not live in the Oklahoma City area.

Kufahl is the wife of Christian Heritage boys basketball and volleyball coach Heath Kufahl. She is also the daughter of Christian Heritage athletic director and football coach John Merrell.
