A slight chance of rain is ahead Monday in central Oklahoma, the National Weather Service reports.

There is a 20 percent chance of rain in Oklahoma City.

The Oklahoma City forecast is as follows:

Monday: A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms before 1 p.m. Partly sunny with a high near 82. South wind 15 to 23 mph with gusts as high as 32 mph.

Monday night: Mostly cloudy with a low around 47. Light and variable wind becoming northeast 11 to 16 mph in the evening. Winds could gust as high as 23 mph.

Tuesday: Mostly cloudy with a high near 70. Northeast wind 10 to 15 mph becoming light east, southeast in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 21 mph.

Tuesday night: A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy with a low around 61. East, northeast wind 10 to 17 mph becoming south after midnight. Winds could gust as high as 24 mph.

Wednesday: A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy with a high near 80. South, southwest wind 13 to 15 mph with gusts as high as 21 mph.

Wednesday night: A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy with a low around 61.

Thursday: A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Partly sunny with a high near 78.

Thursday night: Mostly clear with a low around 44.

Friday: Sunny with a high near 62.

Friday night: Mostly clear with a low around 41.

Saturday: A 20 percent chance of showers. Partly sunny with a high near 65.

Saturday night: A 20 percent chance of showers. Mostly cloudy with a low around 48.

Sunday: A 20 percent chance of showers. Mostly cloudy with a high near 64.
