Rain chances remain in the National Weather Service forecast

The Oklahoma Mesonet’s “Coolest Minimum Temperatures” so far today shows four sites with low temps in the 40s, all in the Panhandle. Boise City dipped to 45.7 at 6:55 a.m.; Kenton to 46.7 at 7:35 a.m.; Goodwell, 47.8 at 6:25 a.m. and Hooker, 48.1 at 7:20 a.m.

Also, the Hazardous Weather Outlook released today by the National Weather Service, Norman notes, “Dry and calm weather will persist until Friday.”

A cold front is expected to move through the end of the week bringing good chances for rain and thunderstorm chances late Friday through early Sunday across Oklahoma and western, north Texas.
