Rain moves out of Oklahoma today

A flash flood warning is in effect for the Tulsa and Muskogee areas until 7 a.m. as rain continues to slowly move northeast.

Storm chances linger this morning, but most of the remnants of Tropical Storm Hermine missed central Oklahoma.

A flash flood warning is in effect for the Tulsa and Muskogee areas until 7 a.m. as rain continues to slowly move northeast.

Here is the forecast for the Oklahoma City area.

Today: Showers and possibly a thunderstorm before 7 a.m. Some of the storms could produce heavy rainfall. High near 87. West, southwest wind between 5 and 9 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100 percent.

Tonight: Partly cloudy with a low around 75. South wind between 10 and 13 mph.

Friday: Partly sunny with a high near 93.
