Rain showers are possible Tuesday in central Oklahoma, the National Weather Service reports.

The Oklahoma City forecast is as follows:

Tuesday: Showers likely with thunderstorms also possible after 7 a.m. Mostly cloudy with a high near 80. Southeast wind 6 to 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60 percent.

Tuesday night: A 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms mainly before 1 a.m. Mostly cloudy with a low around 70. East, southeast wind 5 to 8 mph becoming light and variable.

Wednesday: A 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Partly sunny with a high near 86. Northeast wind 5 to 8 mph becoming east, southeast in the morning.

Wednesday night: Partly cloudy with a low around 72. East wind 5 to 9 mph.

Thursday: Mostly sunny with a high near 90. South wind 6 to 10 mph.

Thursday night: Partly cloudy with a low around 71.

Friday: Sunny with a high near 93.

Friday night: Partly cloudy with a low around 72.

Saturday: A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly sunny, with a high near 93.

Saturday night: A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy with a low around 72.

Sunday: Mostly sunny with a high near 92.

Sunday night: Partly cloudy with a low around 70.
