Rain is possible Tuesday morning before another heat wave hits the state, National Weather Forecasters said.
Scattered showers and thunderstorms were possible, mostly before 10 a.m. After that, expect hot temperatures through the end of the week.

Tuesday afternoon is expected to bring a high of 97, with winds between 14 and 21 miles per hour and gusts as high as 29 miles per hour.
Wednesday will be sunny with a high of about 98 degrees and winds between 14 and 16 miles per hour.
The sunny and hot weather will continue Thursday, with a high of 98, and Friday, with a high of 99.
