Here are the grades for the St. Louis Rams after Sunday's 24-3 loss to the Packers:
QUARTERBACK: Sam Bradford generally got the ball out more quickly. He hit some nice downfield throws while completing 28 of 44 passes for 321 yards. But he missed badly on a fade pattern pass to Danario Alexander, leaving the ball well short while suffering a devastating end zone interception. He also failed to spot Greg Salas breaking wide open for a potential TD late. While mistakes by his offensive colleagues undermined several scoring opportunities, Bradford must shoulder some responsibility for the failure to score touchdowns. GRADE: C-minus.
RUNNING BACK: Steven Jackson got back to full speed. He and Cadillac Williams combined for 120 yards rushing on 22 carries. They also caught six passes for 39 yards. Jackson fumbled once when he took a K.O. hit, but the Rams recovered the ball. Williams failed to corral another disastrous backward pass. All in all, though, this duo did a solid job in a tough environment. GRADE: B-plus.
RECEIVERS: Salas filled the Danny Amendola void, catching eight passes for 77 yards. He shrugged off his early-season drops made touch catches in traffic. Brandon Gibson showed a nose for the first-down marker, but his lack of acceleration on a Bradford deep ball cost the team a huge gainer. Alexander had a big 32-yard reception, but he let a potential big gainer glance off his hands on a post pattern.
