The Texas Rangers will get a big boost in their biggest game of the season, as outfielder Nelson Cruz was activated before the team's American League play-in game against the Tampa Bay Rays.

Cruz was returned to the active roster just moments after his 50-game suspension for using performance-enhancing drugs was lifted Sunday. The All-Star is 9-for-21 with three homers lifetime against left-hander David Price, the Tampa Bay Rays’ starter Monday night.
