1. OSU at Texas, Nov. 16: Strange but true. Home squad hasn't won in this series since 2008.

2. OU at OSU, Dec. 7: The Big 12's most dramatic rivalry. 2004, 2006, 2008, 2010, 2012. Those games are classics.

3. TCU vs. LSU at Arlington, Texas, Aug. 31: What a chance for Big 12 pride. The Frogs could slow the momentum of SEC domination.

4. OU vs. Texas at Dallas, Oct. 12: The 15th Bob Stoops-Mack Brown showdown. They're gaining on Darrell Royal-Frank Broyles, whose 19 meetings in Texas-Arkansas are the most in NCAA history.

5. Texas at TCU, Oct. 26: Frogs ruined Thanksgiving 2012 in Austin; now the 'Horns play in Fort Worth for the first time since 1994.

6. OU at Notre Dame, Sept. 28: Another huge game for Big 12 stature. The conference craves big wins like this. And oh yeah, beating the Irish would nurse the wounds of four generations of OU fans.

7. TCU at OSU, Oct. 19: Frogs go to Stillwater for the second straight year. Bummer for TCU on such a big game; the Frogs can thank Texas A&M.

8. TCU at OU, Oct. 5: Since 1954, the Sooners are 1-2 at home vs. the Frogs. It's no stretch to believe that could become 1-3.

9. OSU vs. Mississippi State at Houston, Aug. 31: More Big 12/SEC bragging rights. Lose this game, and it does more than dampen OSU's season. It marks the Big 12 as even more behind the SEC than we thought.

10. Texas at Baylor, Dec. 7: The last three seasons, the Bears have gone 2-1 vs. UT and scored 50, 48 and 30 points.

11. OU at Baylor, Nov. 7: A Thursday night special to celebrate the Sooners' last game in Floyd Casey Stadium — and first game in Waco since that memorable 2011 night when Baylor beat OU for the first time, knocked the Sooners from national title contention and won Robert Griffin III a Heisman Trophy.

12. Ole Miss at Texas, Sept. 14: Same as OSU-Mississippi State. Big 12 better win.

13. Baylor at Kansas State, Oct. 12: Will a team outside the Bedlam rivals, Texas and TCU make a surprise run at a Big 12 title? It will have to be the winner of this game.

14. Texas Tech at Kansas, Oct. 5: Seems high, I know. But KU's 21-game conference losing streak has to end sometime. This might be the Jayhawks' best chance of 2013.

15. OU at Kansas State, Nov. 23: Unfortunate scheduling. Last season, OU-KSU was the de facto title game — but was played in September. Now it's five days before Thanksgiving but doesn't figure to be a winner-take-all showdown.

16. Texas Tech vs. Baylor, at Arlington, Texas, Nov. 16: Last three scores in this series — Baylor 52-45, Baylor 66-42 and Tech 45-38. Before that stretch, Baylor hadn't reached 30 points on Tech since 1987.

17. Texas at Brigham Young, Sept. 7: Independent BYU ended up with an excellent schedule. At Notre Dame, at Wisconsin, at Virginia. Home games against Boise State, Georgia Tech, Utah and the 'Horns.

18. TCU at Kansas State, Nov. 16: Gary Patterson's first game back at his alma mater as a head coach. Could be an elimination game.

19. Baylor at OSU, Nov. 23: Robert Griffin came to Stillwater twice. Trailed 49-3 after three quarters in 2011 and 41-7 after 40 minutes in 2010. Can Bryce Petty do better?

20. Iowa at Iowa State, Sept. 14: Few fan bases love their coach as much as ISU's loves Paul Rhodes. One reason is, he beats the Hawkeyes.

21. Kansas State at Texas, Oct. 3: Bill Snyder is 5-2 against Mack Brown. Bob Stoops is 10-4 against Mack. Same exact winning percentage.

22. Baylor at TCU, Nov. 30: Art Briles is gaining on Grant Teaff as the greatest coach in Baylor history and Gary Patterson is doing the same on Dutch Meyer at TCU. Patterson might get there. Briles probably won't.

23. Texas at West Virginia, Nov. 9: Mountaineers figure to be struggling by November. This game could salvage a season.

24. TCU at Texas Tech, Sept. 12: This is turning into a nice little rivalry, fueled by Tech canceling a nonconference game a few years ago, before TCU joined the Big 12.

25. West Virginia vs. Maryland, at Baltimore, Sept. 21: The Big 12's only game against an ACC foe. Both teams figure to be mediocre, but a Mountaineer victory would at least keep the Big 12's reputation from taking a hit.

26. OSU at Texas Tech, Nov. 2: Remember when the Cowboys couldn't win in Lubbock? The last two trips, State has rolled.

27. Texas at Iowa State, Oct. 3: Longhorns never have lost in Ames, going 4-0, usually winning by blowout

28. West Virginia at Baylor, Oct. 5: The rematch of the defining Big 12 game of recent years, WVU's 70-63 survival last September.

29. TCU at Iowa State, Nov. 9: The Frogs had a nice season in 2012 but lost at home to the Cyclones.

30. Kansas State at Kansas, Nov. 30: This is the latest Sunflower State Showdown ever. KU traditionally has played K-State in October, then wrapped up its season against Missouri. The last time KU-KSU was played later than Nov. 19? Nov. 28, 1918.

31. OSU at West Virginia, Sept. 28: Since the 1984 Gator Bowl, the Cowboys are 1-7 in the Eastern Time Zone. The lone win was at Florida Atlantic in 2005.

32. Baylor at Kansas, Oct. 26: Do you realize the Bears could go into November unbeaten? The Bears' last five opponents are OU, Tech, OSU, TCU and Texas.

33. Iowa State at Tulsa, Sept. 26: The third series meeting in 391 days. Iowa State won at home last September but lost in the Liberty Bowl.

34. West Virginia at Kansas, Nov. 16: If KU still is without a conference victory, this might not be the place to get it. The Mountaineers beat the Jayhawks 59-10 in 2012.

35. Texas Tech at Texas, Nov. 28: TCU proved an adequate Thanksgiving replacement for Texas A&M. Will Tech?
