Rapper Lupe Fiasco criticizes President Obama, gets booted off stage at inaugural ball
Depending on who is asked, rapper Lupe Fiasco was booted off the stage at an unofficial inaugural ball because of his remarks criticizing President Barack Obama, or because his performance was horrible.
Shortly after telling the crowd, "Limbaugh is a racist, Glenn Beck is a racist. Gaza Strip was getting bombed, Obama didn't say [expletive]. That's why I ain't vote for him, next one either. I'm a part of the problem; my problem is I'm peaceful," the lights above the stage went dark and Fiasco was escorted from the stage by men in black suits.
StartUp RockOn, the party organizer, claims Fiasco was kicked off the stage because his performance was getting horrible reviews from the crowd, and not because of his feelings toward Obama.
