Rapper Mack Maine has been charged with two felonies stemming from an incident on a tour bus after Lil Wayne's concert at Chesapeake Energy Arena last month.
Mack Maine, whose real name is Jermaine Anthony Preyan, is charged with aggravated assault and battery and sexual battery.
Preyan, 33, is accused of reaching down one woman's dress and grabbing her right breast. When she became upset and tried to leave the bus with another woman, Preyan reportedly held the door shut and then punched the second woman in the face when she looked back while walking down the bus steps, according to the probable cause affidavit.
Preyan was not arrested after the incident.
“Mr. Preyan has every intent of answering to the charges and doing everything according to law,” said Preyan's defense attorney, Tony Coleman.
“We are not trying to make a media circus out of it. We have assault and battery cases in this county every day, and we want to treat this like the others,” Coleman said.
The victim who was punched told police that her jaw was broken in two places, and she had surgery at an Edmond hospital. Her jaw will be wired shut for six weeks to allow it to heal, and she is restricted to a liquid diet, she said.
Preyan is president of the Young Money Entertainment record label. He has performed on national television with childhood friend Lil Wayne and has released 10 mixtapes over the past decade.
