TV ratings for Game 7 of the Thunder-Grizzlies series set a Thunder first-round playoff record with a combined 27.7 rating. The record had been a combined 26.1 for Game 6 last year against Houston. Overall, ratings for the Thunder-Grizzlies series averaged 20.2 for the seven-game series, a 15 percent drop from last year’s Thunder-Rockets six-game series (23.7). Nationally, TNT and ESPN had a strong ratings gains for the first-round. TNT averaged a 2.6 (4 million viewers), up 19 percent from last year, and ESPN averaged a 2.2 (3.5 million viewers), up 10 percent. The Kentucky Derby got a 7.9 rating on KFOR-4, a 49 percent drop from last year (15.5).
